The expensive part isn't buying the tool
A kit grows one purchase at a time. Evidence ends up scattered across faded receipts, email inboxes, camera rolls and gloveboxes. You remember the big things. It's the forgotten items that quietly add up.

Built for people who earn their living with their tools
From first-year apprentices to experienced independent tradies, Toolsie is for people whose tools are essential to their work, income and future.
Why I built Toolsie
After a vehicle was broken into, I did what most people would do: I listed the missing tools from memory. I thought I had covered it.
Six months later, I went looking for another tool and realised it had been stolen too—along with more I had completely skipped over. Altogether, another $1,800 worth had disappeared from my mental list.
That was the moment. I needed a better process than memory. I also kept forgetting who I had lent tools to, which happened all the time. So I built Toolsie: a simple prompt to record what you own, keep the evidence together and stay on top of where your tools are.
